Meet Dr. Hyrum Murdoch - Cosmetic and Family Dentistry
Dr. Murdoch is originally from a small community in southeast Idaho, but has considered Alaska home since 2003. Dr. Murdoch and his wife Kristen have been married for 12 years and have 5 energetic kids. They have enjoyed traveling the country and experiencing new places and cities. They were excited however, to return to the hiking, fishing, and hunting of the great Alaskan outdoors while raising their family in the Kodiak community.
Dr. Murdoch received his dental education as a member of the inaugural class of College of Dental medicine Illinois at Midwestern University. Dr. Murdoch followed a career in dentistry after his studies in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University - Idaho. Dr. Murdoch is an active member of the American and Alaska State dental societies. Dr. Murdoch has a passion for providing comfortable and compassionate dentistry to his patients especially those with high fear and anxiety of dental appointments.
Meet Dr. Michael Cady - Periodontist, Implants
Dr. Cady moved to Pocatello when he was seven with his parents and four siblings. Michael graduated from Pocatello High School. After serving a two-year mission for his church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he attended Brigham Young University-Idaho, receiving his Bachelors degree in Biology. He then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, receiving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry. Following this he completed the 2.5 year program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City for post-doctorate studies / residency with specialization in Periodontics.
He and his wife Angela have 3 wonderful children. Dr. Cady enjoys golfing, fly fishing, snow sports, but mostly his family.

Meet Kristen- Receptionist/Scheduling Coordinator
Hey Kodiak! My name is Kristen and I was born and raised in Anchorage, AK. I love Alaska, and all the adventures it has to offer. Being a member of the BridgeView team has been so much fun. I love getting to meet new people daily.
When away from the office, my time is spent with my husband, Hyrum, and five amazing children; four boys and a little girl. They keep me busy, but I love it. We spend our days soaking up the summer sun at the beaches, collecting sea glass, exploring new trails, and fishing at the river.
If I can sneak away for a little break, I’m usually going for a run, hiking, fishing, or getting a pedicure.
Meet Erin - Hygienist
Our dental hygienist is Erin Friese. She joined our clinic in 2021 as a dental hygienist after working as a dental technician. She enjoys assisting patients in improving their health and educating them on the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth.
Carmen - Dental Hygienist
Hello everybody, I'm so happy to be back in Kodiak and grateful to be working with the Murdoch's in providing care for Kodiak. I began my career in dentistry as a patient, became an assistant and now have been a hygienist 30 years. Along the way I have pursued an understanding of whole body health through study of body work and acupuncture..
My best side is outside. Almost daily I am either walking, hiking, kayaking, or biking. A good book or good conversation can keep me couch bound. I have 3 happily sons that find me exhausting. Life is good and only going to get better.
KC - Dental Assistant
KC is our dental assistant. She earned her certificate in coronal polishing in 2008 and has been on our staff ever since. Fluent in Tagalog and English, she works hard to keep the office organized, clean, and inviting for all patients.

Hi, my name is Jacqueline and I’m a Dental Assistant here at BridgeView. I joined the team back in May of 2020. I’ve been a Dental Assistant for about 5 years already!
I’m working on continuing my education to be a licensed Dental Hygienist one day
I grew up in Kodiak and enjoy the outdoors here. I love to travel and being around friends and family. I’m excited to meet you all.
